Some great behind-the-scenes footage from Damian Lillard's Rookie of the Year press conference in this short "NBA Rooks" clip from the NBA. I love Damian's mom saying she expected him to win Rookie of the Year because that's what he told her he would do when he was 12. Moms don't forget.

Chris Mannix over at SI.com has posted his final NBA Draft "big board," which will morph into a mock draft after the draft order is decided on Tuesday. I'm not entirely sure what the difference is, at least if you prescribe to the notion that teams, especially teams selecting in the lottery, go with the best player availabl

The Trail Blazers wasted no time hiring a new assistant to replace Kaleb Canales, who parted with the team last week to join Rick Carlise's staff in Dallas. Today, the team has announced that Nate Tibbetts, who most recently spent time as an assistant in Cleveland, will join the Trail Blazers as an assistant.

A truly great video from Brian Grant's "Powering Forward" campaign to fund Parkinson's research. Grant, one of the all-time most beloved Trail Blazers, and five other people with Parkinson's climb Mount St. Helens together. Beautiful visuals to go along with a beautiful story. And a reminder that Grant's annual "Shake It T

The NBA put together a package of Damian Lillard's top plays to celebrate his unanimous selection as the 2012-13 NBA Rookie of the Year. It's a good mix, though I feel like they missed a few and went a bit heavy on the layups. You guys think they missed anything?

That was an interesting season for the team and for myself. What happened last summer, we changed the team, the coaching staff, new players, everything. So that was an interesting season.
