These used to be separate little paintings but now they are screwed together for a new look on my walls. I can now enjoy them in groupings. The larger painting is the Siletz Estuary painted maybe 5 years ago.

Copenhagen, Denmark at 71 Nyhvn hotel room had a bathroom squeezed into a shower stall. The grid of hand painted lace created an illusion of a curtain between lighted infinite space.

This was taken in the evening to catch the reflections on the palette knife textures. The original painting was inspired by the textured paintings of Norwegian artists. After my trip this summer, I am inspired to work more with texture.
